<p>Premier Health Primary Care Beavercreek (MA or LPN)</p> <p>FT / 80 hours per pay period</p> <p>Summary of Position</p> <p>The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care under the direction and supervision of the center's physicians and/or providers.</p> <p>Nature and Scope</p> <p>The Certified Medical Assistant works under the direct supervision of the physician and/or provider. A minimum patient base of 1,000 to 3,000 patients is served, and an average of 20 - 50 patients are seen each day. The Certified MA will assist providers with patient care that includes, but is not limited to; order entry, reporting, phone calls, clerical, and organizational tasks, and related duties.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>High School diploma or equivalent certificate required.</p> </li><li> <p>Medical Assistant Certification required. Must maintain current MA certification with CEU requirements, along with BLS certification, for the duration of employment.</p> </li><li> <p>Successful completion of an accredited medical assistant program required.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in an ambulatory care environment preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and patient experience standards.</p> </li><li> <p>BLS certified at the time of employment, or within the first 3 months.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.</p> </li></ol>
