<p>Under the direction of the -Manager, Vendor Risk Management, the Contract Expeditor is responsible for expediting, verifying due diligence, and moving contracts forward through execution for all Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation entities and departments. Serves as the Point of Contact for contract administration and is responsible for following up on contractual documents in the Contract Management System("CMS"); fielding and answering correspondence to departments requesting status; providing assistance to support the CMS, assisting with processing contract requests, obtaining vendor's review of documents, and execution of contract documents. Ensure a timely and consistent contract flow from initiation through execution.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ol> <li> <p>Leverages the CMS daily reports to initiate contact and follow-up with Business Partners on the status of contract approvals and reviews in accordance with department policy. Serves as the Point of Contact for the Contracts Administration department for follow-up and status updates; reaches out to vendors to obtain status of contract review and contract signatures. Maintains log with status, details and any follow-up that is required. Ensure a timely and consistent contract flow from initiation through execution, and processes flow steps.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports the Contract Administration team members by processing new contract requests in the CMS. Maintains system administration for CMS, including creating/updating flows and fields, generating/updating templates, creating/updating new users, supporting system upgrades, and creating and distributing scheduled contract management reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports Vendor Management by verifying vendor due diligence completion for all contractual agreements and business arrangements in a timely manner. Responsible for creating and maintaining vendor records in the CMS, including assigning vendor numbers and entering all relevant vendor information.</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to the preparation of new contracts, letter agreements and/or similar agreements that appropriately document business arrangements for vendors who do not submit company contracts or agreements. Obtains necessary approvals from applicable departments for proposed deviations in contract terms and conditions from standard policies and prepares appropriate documentation of any such approvals.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the maintenance of an accurate contract archive, including an online database, correct terms, and renewal dates.</p> </li><li> <p>Files correspondence, contracts and legal documents accurately within CMS. Drafts routine correspondence and other documents.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes special projects and assists the procurement-contracts team members, as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned to support the e?cient operation of the department.</p> </li></ol> <p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in related field required.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum Four (4) years of experience in related field required.</p> </li><li> <p>Paralegal or comparable law firm experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.</p> </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication abilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and P2P and related systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS</p> <ul> <li> <p>At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.</p> </li><li> <p>Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.</p> </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS - ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>The physical demands and working environment described here are representative of those that an employee encounters and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled office setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.</p> </li><li> <p>Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.</p> </li><li> <p>Sedentary work: involves sitting most of the time.
