We're seeking an enthusiastic Construction Intern to support our project managers with tasks like estimating, coordinating logistics, and preparing material quotes. If you're currently pursuing a degree in construction management or civil engineering and are ready to grow, we'd love to meet you!</p> <p>Things You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Assist project managers to plan and review quantity takeoffs, set up project estimates, field measurement for budgeting and billing, pick-up plans, and specifications, as well as traffic control Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings. </li><li>Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling and preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with customer orders, perform Viewpoint data entry. </li><li>Input job data into estimating software. </li><li>Learn about the construction industry through assisting managers. </li><li>Track supply quantities for billing purposes. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction management or Civil Engineering. </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of construction industry. </li><li>Good public relations and communication skills. </li><li>Good organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules. </li></ul> <p>To learn more about Sunroc, click here.</p> <p>Current employees must notify supervisor of application</p> <p>Sunroc is a drug-free workplace.</p>
