<p>The City of Neenah is now accepting applications for a Youth Camp Supervisor. The Youth Camp Supervisor is responsible for the planning, development and supervision of the program. Supervisors are an important link between the public and the Park and Recreation Department.  This individual will report directly to the Recreation Supervisor. Position is a seasonal part-time job. An evaluation and application is required yearly for rehire.</p> <p> </p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Manage 50-60 children ages 6-12 </li><li>Coordinate staffing and supervise 10-12 employees for day camp </li><li>Set up and organization of field trips, special events, and speakers, creating camp schedules </li><li>Respond to problems with parents about the child's behavior and experience </li><li>Be aware and knowledgeable of Parent Handbook and facility emergency procedures </li><li>Ensure facilities are kept clean and well maintained at all times </li><li>Make decisions regarding daily program schedule changes </li><li>Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports and daily attendance </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $21.00 per hour</p> <p>Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week</p> <p>Qualifications and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Be at least 21 years of age. 18 years of age can also be considered with experience. </li><li>2 years of supervisory or teaching experience </li><li>Ability to supervise children in a safe manner </li><li>Ability to lead others positively </li><li>Previous supervisory experience </li><li>Ability to work with varied age groups </li><li>Leadership and public relations skills </li><li>Decision-making skills </li><li>Team player attitude </li><li>Self-Motivated </li><li>CPR, AED, and First aid experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Interview Information:</p> <ul> <li>Winter interview invitations will be emailed mid December.
