Menards Distribution Center is hiring for Warehouse Team Members (Forklift Operator/Material Handler) who are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of our Distribution Center.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Profit Sharing </li><li>Store Discount </li><li>Insurance - Medical (Full-Time Only) and Dental </li><li>401(k) </li><li>Paid Time Off (Full-Time) </li><li>Paid Holidays (Full-Time) </li><li>+$2/hr for 2nd and 3rd shift </li><li>+$3/hr on weekends </li><li>Additional compensation given based on previous experience and education! </li><li>Paid Training! </li></ul> <p>Now hiring FULL TIME and PART TIME for:</p> <ul> <li>Warehouse Team Member - 3rd shift (10:30PM until 7AM or 11:45PM until 7:15AM) </li><li>We offer flexible part-time scheduling as well </li></ul> <p>Starting Part-Time Hourly Rate: $21.25/HR*</p> <p>Starting Full-Time Hourly Rate: $23.05/HR*</p> <ul> <li>Shift premium included in listed hourly rate. </li></ul> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Follow Menards safety policies and procedures </li><li>Safely operate forklift or other machinery </li><li>Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision </li><li>Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics </li><li>Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner </li><li>Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.) </li><li>Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation </li><li>Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system </li><li>Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory </li><li>Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system </li><li>Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens </li><li>Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle </li><li>Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management </li></ul> <p>Skills & Requirements</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting. </li><li>Environment can include temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces. </li><li>Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 70 lbs. occasionally. </li></ul> <p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be eighteen years of age or older </li><li>Warehouse experience preferred but not required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications Don't see a job that meets with your interests?
