<p>Primary Purpose</p> <p>Coordinates programs focused on new employee training and onboarding. Assists new employees in the activities of the processing departments to achieve goals for customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and yield; as well as to reduce employee absenteeism and turnover-particularly with employees within their first 90 days of employment. Day Shift.</p> <p>Major Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supports new employees on the Production floor as they transition into their new role, including tracking skills improvement to meet certification level. </li><li>Monitors absenteeism of new hires, including contacting employees if absent. </li><li>Leads the new hire onboarding program by presenting in orientation and providing translation as needed. </li><li>Assists in roundtable meetings and activities directed by the Complex Human Resources Manager and Employee Relations Manager to improve retention and turnover. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>Two years of experience in a comparable role. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to teach and coach others. </li><li>Patience and adaptability. </li><li>Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. </li><li>Preferred: bilingual in Haitian Creole and Spanish. </li></ul> <p>#LI-SA1</p>
