<p>Position: Patient Access Representative - Clinic</p> <p>Department: Patient Access</p> <p>Location: Glencoe, MN</p> <p>Position Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Hours: 80</p> <p>Shift: Days</p> <p>Schedule: 7:00am-5:00pm (Varies - 8 hours shifts)</p> <p>Weekend Rotation: No</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This is a direct patient-service position as a front-line reception, patient registration and appointment scheduler. Primary responsibilities include a strong customer focus while completing reception duties, patient registration for provider and consultant appointments, telephone interactions, MyChart and in-person appointment scheduling, and will complete general office clerical tasks.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED equivalent. </li><li>Medical terminology coursework, with medical secretarial/administrative degree. </li><li>Previous medical office experience preferred. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, internet-based programs, and ability to operate a variety of office equipment is required. Strong working knowledge of Epic EMR preferred. </li><li>Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Interacts with others using tact and professionalism. Uses proper phone etiquette. </li><li>Maintains confidence and discretion while handling sensitive information. </li><li>Possess initiative and good judgment. Attention to detail is imperative. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as a team player. </li><li>Supports GRH mission, quality improvement goals, and customer satisfaction initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <p>Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity.
