<p>The Supervisor, Warehouse plans, organizes and monitors the receiving, storage and distribution of equipment, supplies and products ensuring a smooth and consistent operations.</p> <p>This position serves our Rheem Parts Division, supporting the West Valley City, UT location.</p> <ul> <li>Oversees warehouse schedules, budgets, and project deliverables. </li><li>Provides direct supervision over warehouse staff. </li><li>Provides performance feedback, coaching and mentoring. </li><li>Accomplishes warehouse objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees </li><li>Communicating job expectations </li><li>Planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions </li><li>Adhering to policies and procedures. </li><li>Responsible for monitoring, and managing policies and processes as it pertains to material movement throughout the manufacturing organization. </li><li>Responsible for moving inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse </li><li>Coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining and controlling inventory accuracy to ensure optimum levels while continuing to improve line fills on orders for the manufacturing organization. </li><li>Works closely with Operations, Materials, Customer Service, and freight carriers to ensure that customer needs are met. </li><li>Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements. </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>5+ years' experience in a warehouse or distribution environment </li><li>Experience in supervising hourly employees. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, teamwork, proven leadership abilities, and excellent problem solving skills. </li><li>Must possess superior planning, decision-making, use of staff service, and motivation skills. </li><li>Must possess good judgment, planning and analytical skills, with the ability to engage team members to support significant shop floor change. </li><li>Ability to organize and deliver effective training tools. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects. </li><li>Ability to interact and work in a distribution center floor environment. </li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office, to include Word and Excel. </li></ul> <p>HOW TO STAND OUT</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Operations or related field </li><li>Certified lift truck experience preferred. </li><li>ERP system knowledge such as Oracle or SAP. </li><li>Experience in a unionized environment. </li></ul> <p>#LI-Onsite</p> <p>#LI-LF1</p> <p>At Rheem, we are dedicated to bringing comfort to people's lives.
