<p>What to Expect</p> <p>Tesla is seeking a skilled Construction Pipefitter to join our dynamic Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) project team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on advancing energy sustainability. We are looking for candidates who bring passion for solving challenging problems, a commitment to teamwork, and a positive attitude towards hard work.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Install new waste piping, water piping, compressed air piping, supports, racks, related panels, and devices </li><li>Work with various piping types, including copper, stainless steel, PVC, cast iron, and carbon steel </li><li>Use P&IDs, spool drawings, and shop drawings to plan work scopes, install improvements, and troubleshoot issues </li><li>Perform a wide variety of job scopes from planning and execution to cleanup and material handling </li><li>Display positive attitudes and practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company </li><li>Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5+ years of experience in pipefitting/welding at journeyman level or higher in industrial or commercial settings </li><li>Strong knowledge in installing and troubleshooting all types of plumbing systems </li><li>Ability to interpret P&IDs, shop and spool drawings, specifications, shop/fabrication drawings, and UPC codes </li><li>Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations and routing </li><li>Ability to produce as-built drawings for work performed </li><li>Ability to test and commission all work per Tesla procedures and building department codes </li><li>Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required </li></ul> <p>Tesla is an Equal Opportunity employer.
