Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond?</p> <p>Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Agile Lead, Military Engines to be part of the F135 Program Digital Solutions team. The F135 Program Digital Solutions Agile Lead will work with F135 Program Digital Solutions teams to advance their ability to execute in and realize the benefits of Agile frameworks, drive adoption of an Agile mindset, and lead and coach agile implementation in the delivery of digital solutions that support the full F135 Lifecycle so that teams can predictability execute their backlogs, deliver on commitments, and work to continuously improve their processes. We are seeking a highly collaborative Scrum Leader and Agilist with a track record for innovative business process solutions and experience with various Agile methodologies. A knowledge of Military Engines Programs, and experience in the RTX CORE Operating System is a plus.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist F135 Program Digital Solutions teams in the instantiation of Agile frameworks and practices</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate road mapping activities</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and lead program increment (PI) planning events</p> </li><li> <p>Support the implementation of scaled Agile teams</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor teams on the agile mindset through observation and feedback, making recommendations for operating approach and frameworks</p> </li><li> <p>Implement Agile planning tool (e.g. Jira) processes which support program monitoring and execution</p> </li><li> <p>Dynamically solve problems by crafting collaborative solutions with creative new ideas</p> </li><li> <p>Assess agile maturity of teams and help with the development of improvement backlogs</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications You Must Have</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree with 12 years' experience as a project or program manager, or an Advanced Degree with 10 years of project or program manager experience</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years executing Agile practices and frameworks, including roles as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Product Manager, Portfolio Manager, or Agile Coach</p> </li><li> <p>One or more Agile certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Master) from any framework</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in one or more Agile planning tools (preferably Jira)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading a scaled Agile team of teams, excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills and strong time management skills, including experience with large and blended groups that are partially remote and partially in-person</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel up to 10%, including in-person participation at quarterly increment planning events in East Hartford, CT</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications We Prefer</p> <ul> <li> <p>Agile Earned Value Management experience</p> </li><li> <p>Continuous Improvement framework knowledge (e.g. Six Sigma, CORE)</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of Military engine programs, PW engine design process, software development process</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Agile product development and delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Lean and Kanban skillset</p> </li><li> <p>Adaptive coaching style with the ability to work with teams at various levels and in locations across the Pratt & Whitney organization.</p> </li></ul> <p>What Is My Role Type?</p> <p>In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.</p> <p>Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.</p> <p>Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.</p> <p>This role is a U.S.-based role.
