TAG professionals specialize largely in providing financial and accounting buy-side and sell-side due diligence, capital markets and accounting advisory, global transaction analytics, environmental, technical & sustainability (ETS) and other related M&A services for private equity, hedge funds, sovereign wealth, family office and corporate clients around the world</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in preparing annual budget and mid-year forecasts, while working with Corporate team to understand non-discretionary budget items</p> </li><li> <p>Creating monthly financial reports, gathering explanations for variances and delivering consolidated reports on an accurate and timely basis</p> </li><li> <p>Identify drivers of results and suggest creative solutions to improve performance</p> </li><li> <p>Support with annual year-end compensation process</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Finance & Operations team with conversion of existing databases and excel-based reporting to more efficient and automated tools</p> </li><li> <p>Identify financial and operational KPIs and develops dashboards to drive accountability for performance throughout the firm</p> </li><li> <p>Collect, analyze, and present a wide array of company-level information for various audiences including senior leadership and key stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Tracking financial / cashflow progress and near-term expectations on group, Managing Director and engagement level</p> </li><li> <p>Review, analyze and report local and overhead spend vs budget and prior year while coordinating with various function leads to understand current state and revise forecasts</p> </li><li> <p>Develop checks and balances to ensure activities are being conducted in line with expectations</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor accuracy and timeliness of client billing, collections of receivables, and support year-end collection activities</p> </li><li> <p>Ad-hoc reporting and in-depth reviews (e.g. project profitability reviews)</p> </li><li> <p>Work with client teams on special projects and ad hoc reporting needs</p> </li><li> <p>Continuously work to improve financial reporting and processes</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including those in the finance organization as well as the business unit (both client service and operations professionals)</p> </li><li> <p>Be responsible for the co-ordination of leadership meeting support material and applying due care to ensure it is accurate</p> </li><li> <p>Support the organization and meeting material creation for team meetings and off-sites</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business</p> </li><li> <p>6+ years of relevant business experience in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations or similar area</p> </li><li> <p>A strong financial competency overall is essential</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Initiative and sound judgment to make appropriate and timely decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or business decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge in Excel; PowerBI knowledge a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Positive attitude and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and changing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to multi-task, to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work independently or with a team</p> </li><li> <p>Passionate about perfect execution and detail-oriented</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organization and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities</p> </li><li> <p>Desire to develop into more senior finance or ops roles</p> </li><li> <p>Self-starter; "Let's Get it Done" attitude - willing to pitch in where needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Your journey at A&M</p> <ul> <li> <p>We recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person's unique professional and personal development. The possibilities are endless for high-performing and passionate professionals.</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits Summary</p> <p>Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours</p> <p>Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type. Click?here?for more information regarding A&M's benefits programs.</p> <p>The base salary range is $125,000 - $140,000 annually, dependent on several variables, including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.?
