<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking external and incumbent talent to be considered for positions to support the FDIC ISS Program.</p> <p>This has recently been awarded to SAIC!</p> <p>These positions will provide critical IT operational services in support of FDIC initiatives, ensuring the effective delivery of IT services spanning several core task areas, including:</p> <ul> <li>Data Center Operations - Operations, maintenance, and optimization of on-premise and hybrid cloud environments. </li><li>Network Engineering and Operations - Design, implementation, and support of advanced network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and security. </li><li>Unified Communications - Management of enterprise voice, video, and collaboration tools across a distributed workforce. </li><li>Client Services - Including deskside support, hardware deployment, and end-user support services. </li><li>Service Desk Operations - Comprehensive help desk services, incident resolution, and customer experience improvement. </li><li>Monitoring and Event Management - Real-time monitoring and analytics to ensure incident detection, predictive issue management, and enhanced responsiveness. </li><li>Cross-Functional Roles - Project management, training, quality assurance, and IT governance functions supporting FDIC's mission-critical operations. </li></ul> <p>Within these task areas, SAIC will be seeking specialized expertise in the following roles:</p> <ul> <li>Data Center Engineers and Technicians </li><li>Network Engineers and Architects </li><li>Unified Communications Engineers </li><li>Deskside Support Technicians and Imaging Leads </li><li>Service Desk Analysts </li><li>Monitoring Specialists and Event Managers </li><li>Systems Engineers and Administrators </li><li>IT Trainers and Knowledge Management Professionals </li><li>Application Support Specialists </li><li>Infrastructure Architects </li><li>Quality Assurance/Test Engineers </li><li>IT Program and Task Managers </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum qualifications will vary depending on specific role, education, and experience levels. General competencies and certifications relevant to this program include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with enterprise IT service delivery in data centers, networking, or unified communications. </li><li>Strong customer service and collaboration skills for client-facing roles. </li><li>ITIL certifications and/or experience preferred for service delivery and management roles. </li><li>Knowledge or certifications in cloud platforms, security best practices, or networking protocols is highly desirable. </li><li>Current or previous experience directly supporting FDIC ISS </li></ul> <p>Clearance Requirement</p> <ul> <li>All candidates must successfully obtain or possess an FDIC Public Trust clearance. </li><li>Candidates must also pass the SAIC Background Investigation as a requirement for employment. </li></ul> <p>Work Location Details</p> <p>All positions must be performed within the continental United States.
