The Drug and Alcohol Counselor provides individual and group therapy to individuals receiving substance use disorder treatment, including individuals with co-occurring (dual diagnosis) disorders. Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire, depending on requirements. Employees must complete and maintain certification required by regulations and offered by Merakey within the required timeline. Failure to successfully complete and maintain license and/or certification and associated continuing education requirements will prevent you from being able to fulfill this role. </li><li>1 - 3 years counseling experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting </li><li>You will work onsite, Monday-Friday: 7 am to 3:30 pm </li></ul>
