<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Director, RFE Administration works across multiple business functions to ensure Resident and Family Engagement processes, initiatives, projects and programs support the short and long-term goals of the RFE team, the overall business and Resident & Family Engagement strategy, and acts as a representative of Brookdale Senior Living's RFE organization.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Serves as RFE lead or liaison on processes, initiatives, projects, and programs contributing to executing organization-wide strategies and cross-departmental collaboration. </li><li>Engages key stakeholders in executing RFE initiatives to ensure effective implementation, compliance, measurement and analysis so that business goals are consistently achieved. </li><li>Directs and coordinates between the Centers of Excellence short- and long-term focused processes, initiatives, and projects for the RFE department. </li><li>Uses strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of the business to plan, develop, and direct project and implementation plans for RFE initiatives, incorporating change management and measurement throughout. </li><li>Solves diverse problems and takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. </li><li>Collaborates with RFE Centers of Excellence, as well as other departments as needed, to create new, and revise existing RFE initiatives. </li><li>Develops trusting relationships with RFE leaders, department leaders, and executives. </li><li>Oversees Optimum Life initiatives including guiding and directing the Optimum Life Continuing Education Series team for annual survey, program planning, training, and partnership with sales and other stake holders. </li><li>Oversees interdisciplinary wellness projects (e.g. mental health team and other well-being resources), training, and messaging for Optimum Life. </li></ul> <p>This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position. An associate should perform all duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in a Health Care related field, Business Administration, or other related field required. Minimum seven years' experience of related experience required, though additional education or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Master's degree in, Organizational Development & Leadership, Business Administration, or similar function preferred.</p> <p>Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements</p> <p>None.</p> <p>Management/Decision Making</p> <p>Uses strong analytic skills and an in-depth understanding of the organization and the business in order to handle arising problems and issues. Solves diverse problems using solid analytical skills where limited precedents/guidelines exist.</p> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <p>Advanced working knowledge of multiple resident & family engagement disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, associate relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. Has significant knowledge of the organization, work environment and process. Strong communication skills and ability to be flexible regarding responsibilities. Ability to handle pressure and work deadlines.
