We are seeking candidates that have a professional and Courteous approach with an enthusiasm to problem solve.</p> <p>Duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>Outbound collections communication </li><li>Preparing demand letters </li><li>Reviewing and submitting Foreclosure referrals </li><li>Communicating with internal Legal department on delinquent loans </li><li>Handling incoming customer service calls </li><li>Payment processing </li><li>Data processing </li><li>Reporting management </li><li>Understanding and following Fair Debt Collections Practices Act </li><li>Negotiating payment arrangements </li><li>Determining debtor's financial ability to offer alternate payment plans </li><li>Skip Tracking to locate debtors </li><li>Documenting and maintaining all incoming and outgoing collection efforts </li><li>Scheduling property inspection and determining property conditions </li><li>Addressing inquiries and issues of debtors in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Providing outstanding customer service </li><li>Monitoring accounts to identify outstanding debts </li><li>Managing delinquency reporting activities </li><li>Perform general clerical duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>What we'll love about you:</p> <ul> <li>3 years mortgage experience is required </li><li>1 year experience in collections </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish is a plus </li><li>Attention to detail, efficiency in work, and being open to feedback </li><li>Good data entry skills and phone etiquette are required </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication </li><li>Letter writing skills are needed for professional email responses </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products: Word, Excel </li><li>Ability to learn new systems </li><li>We use Encompass, Servicing Director and OnBase for our loans and documents </li></ul>
