<p>Hiring for the 2026-2027 School Year</p> <p>FTE Benefitted or Contractual opportunities available</p> <p>SALARY</p> <p>Commensurate with certification and experience based on the Wicomico County Certificated Salary Scale.</p> <p>Includes employee benefits package.</p> <p>HOURS</p> <p>Full time 10-month position (190 contract days).</p> <p>Contract Unit: This position is part of the Unit I (Certificated) bargaining unit.</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Must be certified or licensed by the state of Maryland.</p> <p>Experience with AAC devices.</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively using the English language when deemed necessary.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication skills of students.</p> <p>Develop goals and objectives in the area of speech, language, and communication.</p> <p>Work collaboratively with IEP teams.</p> <p>Participate in IEP meetings.</p> <p>Provide appropriate intervention in area of need.</p> <p>Note: The above description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities.
