In order to fully meet our Mission to our students, we require a diverse combination of perspectives, backgrounds, life experiences, and ideas from our faculty and staff and will provide them with an equitable and inclusive work environment -where respect and open interchange of ideas are at the heart of that culture.</p> <p>20,000 Students</p> <p>10 Campuses</p> <p>Competency Based Education</p> <p>Online</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate dependability in all matters (i.e., attendance, communication, adherence to institutional and departmental policies and procedures, accurate completion of paperwork). </li><li>Enforce all policies and procedures of the institution and the department. </li><li>Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude when dealing with all members of the public, with applicants, with students, with staff, with faculty, and with administration. </li><li>Manage the processes associated with undergraduate general student admission and work with graduate programs as so determined. </li><li>Hire and train admissions officers to include training for new admissions officers regarding policies and procedures and in promoting improvement by providing the additional training needed for individual admissions representatives or the department. </li><li>Conduct continual training in program knowledge for all admissions officers. </li><li>Ensure proper usage of institutional software systems and adherence to usage policy. </li><li>Complete weekly and monthly admission reports and distribute, as well as additional analyses as requested. </li><li>Ensure adherence to the approved annual departmental budget. </li><li>Provide motivation to admissions staff. </li><li>Engage in physical activities at least 50% of the time may include campus tours, open houses, welcome sessions, and daily interactions with Admissions Officers. </li><li>Inquiry establishment and maintenance of plan for presenting information relating to South College and programs to high school students. </li><li>Advanced verbal and written communication often in stressful situations involving students or co-workers </li><li>Fast-paced work environment requiring quick adaptation skills in a changing strategic and tactical workplace </li><li>Other duties as deemed appropriate by the supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Minimum of Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Previous Professional Experience relating to Duties</p>
