<p>Pittsburgh Tank and Tower Group</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>PROJECT MANAGER</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>This position will perform the functions of a Project Manager. They will set deadlines and assign responsibilities for each project. They are responsible for ensuring deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Meet with customers to review projects and understand scope and timelines </li><li>Complete oversight of the project from start to finish </li><li>Work directly with all trades on detailed scopes of work </li><li>Manage Project Coordinators and oversee inspection crews </li><li>Develop detailed project schedules and ensure that all aspects of the project stay on track for on-time delivery </li><li>Coordinate meetings between customers, vendors, subcontractors and client personnel; prepare materials and draft minutes </li><li>Adjust project schedule, notify other departments as needed </li><li>Create customer estimates and quotes as needed </li><li>Oversee all subcontractors, vendors, and contractors for compliance quality, safety, cost, and timeliness requirements </li><li>Maintain a close interface with the customer and project management office, regarding schedules, quality and standards </li><li>Manage project change orders, and timely, accurate invoicing </li><li>Understand and monitor the projects, on-time delivery, revenue, and margin quality </li><li>Communicate change orders to the customer and/or Manager in a timely manner </li><li>Understand and implement customer's standards of safety, installation quality, processes and communication methods </li><li>Understand and enforce client's standards of professionalism, quality, safety, metrics, and processes </li><li>Accurately track all time, expenses and reporting using the approval methods </li><li>Create and transmit all kick-off and closeout documentation, floor plans, schematics and specifications relevant to projects </li><li>Collaborate with design professionals, subject matter experts and other resources to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of all projects </li><li>Cultivate customer relationships and identify new business opportunities </li><li>The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2-year degree or equivalent training in field </li><li>4-6 years of experience in construction or related industry </li><li>Proven Project Management experience </li><li>Knowledge of code requirements for specialty trade systems and their integration into overall facility or project plans </li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal direction </li><li>Detail-oriented </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Ability to coordinate activities of groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency </li></ul> <p>Pittsburg Tank & Tower Group is an equal opportunity employer.</p> <p>FLSA Classification: Exempt</p> <p>Work Hours: In Office Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (schedule may vary)</p>
