We are a Top Workplace employer.</p> <p>Role Overview:</p> <p>The Seasonal Call Center CSR ensures the highest level of customer focus, with a strong commitment to the taxpayers of Indiana through continuous, innovative methods to increase accuracy, efficiency, and productivity in all areas of departmental operations tax administration. Experience is preferred but not required.</p> <p>The Seasonal Call Center CSR position will start on January 19th and will work through the peak tax season. Hours will depend on availability. Bilingual skills desired, but not required.</p> <p>This role is at the Central DOR office at the Indiana Government Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>This position starts at $22.00 per hour.</p> <p>A Day in the Life:</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Enjoys learning about a variety of the Department of Revenue tax procedures, including tax filing andpayment requirements. </li><li>Provide best-in-class customer service taxpaying customers by phone in a fast-paced call centerenvironment. </li><li>Apply knowledge acquired in training and utilizes resources to analyze and problem-solve. </li><li>Respond to a variety of tax inquiries. </li><li>Access data utilizing basic computer skills. </li><li>Communicate professionally using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. </li><li>Comply with all ethical and confidentiality requirements. </li></ul> <p>The job profile is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilitiesthat are required of the employee.
