<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Paragon Professional Services, LLC, is currently seeking qualified Scheduler/Dispatchers in Burlington, MA, Harford, CT and Manchester, NH. The Scheduler/Dispatchers provide a 24/7 single point of contact for the receipt and execution of transport directives. Wage/Salary $20 - $24 / hour.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinating transportation of detainees as directed by ICE, in a timely manner to ensure all detainees are delivered to proper destinations. </li><li>Complying with all USDOT/FMCSA rules and regulations regarding the transport of passengers; monitoring Transportation Officers' Hours of Service and reporting to the Transportation Coordinator to ensure duty day does not exceed 15 hours with no more than 10 hours driving time; ensure no more than 70 hours in eight-day period. </li><li>Ensuring Transportation Officers perform transport duties per PBNDS. </li><li>Providing daily Operations Brief (muster) and Safety/PBNDS Training brief </li><li>Ensuring Transportation Officers are aware of appropriate routes to transport destinations. </li><li>Ensuring that any required detainee documentation is provided to the Transportation Officers prior to departure. </li><li>Ensuring that the appropriate number of gender-appropriate officers are onboard each transport and present for each shift. </li><li>Ensuring that Transportation Officers assigned to hospital/escort duties are relieved upon shift change. </li><li>Verifying that the Transportation Officers are in possession of their driver's license, medical certificate and weapons permits prior to departure. </li><li>Conducting monthly uniform and weapons inspections of assigned staff. </li><li>Preparing annual performance evaluations for assigned staff. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned. </li><li>Must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO's)</p> <ul> <li>Current Public Trust Clearance </li><li>High School Diploma </li><li>Minimum two (2) years' experience as a Law Enforcement Officer and/or Military Police Officer or six (6) months experience as a security officer engaged in functions related to detailing civil or administrative detainees or, two (2) years active-duty military service with an honorable discharge. </li><li>Must maintain an active cellphone to receive assignments and maintain communication with co-workers and supervisory staff. </li><li>Valid Driver's License for the State you reside in. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills; verbal and written. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. </li><li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and data entry. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Possession of a valid Wear Carry Permit for the site-specific state. </li><li>Possession of a valid Security Guard Certification for the site-specific state. </li><li>Possession of a valid Driver's License or valid Commercial Driver's License for the state you reside in </li><li>Possession of a USDOT Medical Card (for CDL license holders only) </li><li>Current federal background investigation and access or ability to obtain. </li><li>Active Public Trust clearance. </li></ul> <p>NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Supervises direct reports. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS</p> <p>As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
