This role will provide the candidate with classroom and self-guided training modules to learn the various protocols required to analyze and accurately process the images and views depicting anatomy and/or pathology. Quality metrics are in place to regularly monitor technologist's performance. Technologists must meet performance metric standards in a specified timeframe.</p> <p>POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Manage data image transfer process from 3DR post-processing equipment in an accurate and timely manner. </li><li>Perform 3D post processing of clinical images. </li><li>Utilize pre-defined protocols along with knowledge, skills, and experience to produce the optimal 3D visualization. </li><li>Prompt attendance to scheduled shift and responsiveness to case management deadlines. </li><li>Collaborate with other professionals including technologists, doctors, surgeons, and other clinicians to provide accurate views depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology. </li><li>Accurate recordkeeping with logs, reports, and billing processes. </li></ul> <p>DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Experience with highly detailed information. </li><li>Accurate and timely operation of computer software. </li><li>Ability to view images on a screen and create cross-sections and other perspectives for analysis and diagnosis. </li><li>Knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and gross pathology. </li><li>Ability to navigate through proprietary 3D software, Microsoft Office software, HR software, wikis, and other online resources to perform job functions. </li><li>Ability to memorize protocols and computer commands. </li><li>Ability to work independently on cases. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated professional demeanor speaking with colleagues, doctors, surgeons, clinicians, and other professionals in sometimes tense situations. </li><li>Professional review of colleague's work, providing guidance, sharing new ideas and information in a professional manner. </li><li>This position may involve working non-traditional hours including evenings, nights, weekends and occasional holidays as well as possible "on call" responsibilities to ensure continuation of operations. </li></ul> <p>DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Associates in Health Science in Radiologic Technology is required or bachelor's degree in a health science or related field of study is a plus. </li><li>Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiologic processes. </li><li>R.T. (RT)(ARRT) is required. CT and or MR licenses are highly preferred. </li><li>Experience in 3D and multi-planar reformatting </li><li>Experience in multi-modalities </li><li>Software experience with Tera Recon, Vital Images, VISAGE, and/or other 3D software is highly preferred. </li></ul> <p>The salary range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 per hour.
