<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The cross team data management specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of multi-level bills of materials (BOMs), along with Catalog rule writing and Catalog projects. This position will start primarily on the Catalog side and start transitioning more into the "cross team" role sometime next year. They will also work collaboratively with other departments such as engineering, manufacturing, finance, and purchasing to ensure BOMs, customer data template and order entry software are up-to-date and accurate at all times.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be detailed, accurate, organized, and able to determine and meet deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to work cooperatively.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a continually changing environment with the ability to change direction quickly.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have solid understanding of Weather Shield's products.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem-solving skills.</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required</p> <p>EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in or supporting manufacturing operations. Experience in window and door industry is preferred.</p> <p>COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Office Proficiency. Moderate level proficiency in Excel is preferred.</p> <p>Experience with following programs is preferred, but not required: JDE, Omni, AS-400, EMS</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, keyboards, or keypads.
