This role focuses on supporting independence, early communication, potty-training readiness, and classroom routines that prepare children for preschool success.</p> <p>Our Twos program blends structure and play through the L.E.A.P. curriculum, helping children build confidence, social skills, and early learning foundations in a supportive environment.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead a classroom of 2-year-olds in a safe, engaging learning environment </li><li>Implement developmentally appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. curriculum </li><li>Support language growth, self-help skills, and social-emotional development </li><li>Guide children through daily routines including toileting transitions, meals, and rest time </li><li>Track developmental progress and share updates with families </li><li>Partner with assistant teachers to maintain strong classroom structure </li><li>Ensure compliance with Michigan licensing and center standards </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>Early childhood classroom experience required (toddlers or twos preferred) </li><li>Associate degree in Early Childhood Education a plus </li><li>Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices </li><li>CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain </li><li>Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements </li></ul> <p>Apply Today</p> <p>Join The Learning Experience - Byron Center and lead a classroom where young learners build independence, confidence, and excitement for their next stage of learning.</p> <p>Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour</p> <p>This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
