<p>Privacy Policy - Core Natural Resources, Inc.</p> <p>Position Title: Section Supervisor- Underground</p> <p>Location/Subsidiary: Bailey Mine/ Consol Pennsylvania Coal Company</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position is a supervisory role, responsible for the safe production of coal and the installation and movement of equipment and machinery that supports coal production.</p> <p>Target Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Must adhere to core values including Safety, Sustainability, and Continuous Improvement </li><li>Ensure the company's "Absolute ZERO" safety culture is embedded in all work performed </li><li>Must safely, effectively, and efficiently work and respond to changing conditions within the mine </li><li>Must be able to safely operate underground mining equipment </li><li>Supervise sections that may include longwall, continuous miner, construction, belt and/or out-by work. May provide supervision for de-gas activities </li><li>Performs key supervisory responsibilities such as goal setting, planning, training and performance evaluation. Communicates changes and company policies and procedures to employees </li><li>Coordinates and communicates with engineering, maintenance and other departments or shifts as needed to maintain an efficient and safe operation </li><li>May perform the duties of other production, operations or maintenance foreman. May assume the duties of the shift foreman due to absence </li><li>Must ensure that body mechanics, equipment, and tools are utilized in a safe and responsible manner </li><li>Responsible for the safe and efficient production of coal and/or assistance in the production of coal in general work areas </li><li>Requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations </li><li>Must comply with company policies, federal and state laws, and regulatory standards </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age </li><li>Requires certification by Pennsylvania as one of the following: Mine Examiner, Assistant Mine Foreman, or as a mine foreman for underground Bituminous Coal Mines </li><li>Requires Pennsylvania Experienced Miner Certificate </li><li>Must be available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requires </li><li>Must be able to work as scheduled and arrive to the worksite promptly to receive work assignment and prepare for the start of the shift </li><li>Must be able to work a shift rotation </li><li>Must be able to work safely and effectively as a part of a team </li><li>Must be able to perform heavy work as defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles which may include but not limited to lift, carry, pull/push, climb, shovel, walk, or pry. *Physical demands of the job are subject to change based on industry demands </li><li>Must be able to work on/near moving equipment as required by job </li><li>Must be able to understand and grasp mining concepts and safety strategies </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Supervisory/management skills and experience </li><li>Specialty certification or experience </li></ul> <p>We look forward to seeing you</p> <p>Other details</p> <ul> <li>Job Family Salaried </li><li>Job Function Salaried Exempt </li><li>Pay Type Salary </li></ul> <p>Apply Now</p> <ul> <li>Bailey Mine, 192 Crabapple Road, Wind Ridge, Pennsylvania, United States of America </li></ul>
