<p>Job Description</p> <p>This recruitment is exempt from the Hiring Freeze (Administrative Order 358).</p> <p>ATTENTION ALASKA RESIDENTS!</p> <p>The Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Division of Workers Compensation, is recruiting for a</p> <p>Workers Compensation Technician located in Anchorage!</p> <p>No Cover Letter Required!</p> <p>This position is in the General Government Unit (GGU) at a Range 12.</p> <p>What You Will Be Doing:</p> <p>In this position, you will provide information and assistance to injured workers, claim administrators, attorneys, and other parties involved in Workers' Compensation matters. The required experience includes, but is not limited to, work such as Office Assistant 1 job class with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>One year of advanced level clerical work experience, performing tasks that require determining administrative and/or programmatic tasks to be completed, prioritizing work, and deciding the appropriate action to be taken based on interpretation and application of the organization's programs, policies, and regulations.
