<p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <ul> <li>This is a 100% Grant Funded Position; funded by Tulsa Innovation Labs* </li></ul> <p>Status: Full-Time / Exempt</p> <p>Shift: Days</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Provide technical research and deliver targeted training to employees of manufacturing companies in the region. Prepare individuals for success in modern industrial roles and assist client companies in integrating advancing technologies such as drone applications, digital tools, and automation into their manufacturing operations.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Design customized continuing education programs and facilitate employer-sponsored training courses tailored to the needs of the manufacturing industry, emphasizing the practical use of drones, foundational computer literacy, and basic mechanical aptitude. </li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing clients to assess workforce training needs related to emerging technologies and provide strategic solutions that enhance productivity and innovation. </li><li>Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in smart manufacturing, robotics, and unmanned aerial systems (UAS), integrating relevant content into training modules. </li><li>Support workforce development initiatives that promote upskilling in digital manufacturing tools, including sensor-based systems, data collection technologies, and automated processes. </li><li>Serve as a liaison between Tulsa Tech and manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment between training content and real-world job requirements. </li><li>Maintain complete, accurate and current documentation of client projects and supportive activities. </li><li>Ensure all process and operational recommendations meet District quality and client standards. </li><li>Participate continuously in professional development activities related to assigned embedded industry focus area(s) to ensure that technical and industry knowledge remains current with changes, improvements and enhancements in automated systems and related fields. </li><li>Recruit, select, recommend for hire, on-board and direct adjunct employees including instructors and consultants that participate in providing client solutions to assure effective use of the resource, and quality of service to the client organization. </li><li>Exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding the provision of services to internal and external customers and in day-to-day operations of the department. Interpret and implement policies in a manner consistent with the interests of the District. Provide advice and consultation to executive management as requested. Investigate and resolve issues as needed, represent the department and District in a professional manner to all. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of five years' experience working in a craft level position in manufacturing, construction, or related industries. </li><li>Experience with OSHA, EPA and ADA regulations, and one year experience in a lead role is preferred. </li><li>Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or repair of electric or hybrid vehicles, manned or unmanned aircraft, or drones is preferred. </li><li>Currently possess or have the ability to obtain the following certifications, within one-year, current certifications to deliver American Heart Association or Red Cross approved CPR, OSHA Outreach General Industry, OSHA General Construction and other safety topics is required. </li><li>Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or repair of electric or hybrid vehicles, manned or unmanned aircraft, or drones is preferred. </li><li>Understand Adult learning principles specific to designing, developing and delivery of various course subjects. </li><li>Knowledge of current state and federal regulations related to safety, health, fire protection and the environment. </li><li>Valid State Issued Driver's License </li><li>Bilingual is a plus </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>Bachelors degree or, high school diploma with equivalent experience in safety, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.</p> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>SPMS</p> <p>Hiring Range:</p> <p>$55,861 - $71,309 dependent on experience, plus additional $9,000 annual compensation for salary-in-lieu of dependent benefit coverage.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Employee Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Sick Leave, Vacation, Personal Leave, Pension Plan, 457 Savings Plan, and 25 paid holidays</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>For maximum consideration, receipt of application material is May 27th.
