Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work.</p> <p>Job Overview</p> <p>The Associate, Site Merchandising supports the execution and optimization of digital merchandising strategies that drive traffic, conversion, and sales on macys.com. This position partners cross-functionally to ensure consistent, high-quality site experiences across all customer touchpoints. The role plays a key part in translating merchandising strategies into effective on-site execution that enhances the customer journey.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>Execute site merchandising strategies that align data and content across all customer touchpoints and devices. </li><li>Optimize product detail pages, including imagery, attribution, tagging, reviews, and customer-generated content. </li><li>Manage taxonomy elements such as header navigation and left-hand navigation in partnership with SEO and UX teams. </li><li>Improve on-site search performance by analyzing failed search terms and responding to trending phrases and key brands. </li><li>Support promotional and event execution, including sequencing, boosting, promo codes, and gift-with-purchase initiatives. </li><li>Drive affiliate and SEM performance through regular submission of top-performing offers. </li><li>Partner with merchant, marketing, creative, production, and site operations teams to ensure flawless execution of site initiatives. </li><li>Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities. </li><li>In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills You Will Need</p> <p>Digital Merchandising: Applies online merchandising strategies to improve conversion, traffic, and customer experience.</p> <p>Data Analysis: Uses insights from analytics, experimentation, and relevancy tools to inform site optimization decisions.</p> <p>Taxonomy & Search Optimization: Manages navigation structures and search performance to improve product discoverability.</p> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works effectively with merchants, marketing, creative, and technical partners to deliver results.</p> <p>Strategic Thinking: Evaluates competitive landscapes and business priorities to recommend site merchandising improvements.</p> <p>Communication: Clearly communicates technical concepts, insights, and recommendations to partners at all levels.</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <ul> <li>Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply. </li><li>3-5 years of direct experience in site merchandising, digital merchandising, or a related e-commerce function. </li><li>Regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands/fingers to touch, handle, and feel. Occasionally required to move about the workplace and reach with hands and arms.
