<p>Position Description: This position is a 4/4 teaching load, with courses in sociology, including required courses (e.g., Intro Soc) and electives contributing to at least one of our concentrations (Generalist; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and Mental Health and Social Services); for example, Soc Inequality, Soc of Mental Illness. Academic advising will also be included. Faculty are expected to be outstanding teachers, possess sensitivity to a diverse population, and demonstrate commitment to creative activity and scholarship, professional development, and professional service. The faculty will teach SOC 100 Introduction to Sociology and SOC 312 Sociology of Mental Illness courses in the Fall 2026 semester.</p> <p>Qualifications: PhD in Sociology preferred; ABD near completion considered.</p> <p>Application Deadline: The position will remain open until filled.
