<p>The Host/Take Out Associate is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly and personalized manner upon arrival into the restaurant. This person must maintain attentive and courteous communication with guests and answer the phone and all questions in a polite manner. This position handles take-out for our guests; ensures all take-out guidelines, specifications, quality, and service standards are met. The Host presence at the front desk is required at all times to extend an appropriate welcome, farewell, and a sincere invitation for our guests' return.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner as they arrive at the restaurant. </li><li>Seat guests efficiently, manage seating chart, and ensure optimal flow of diners. </li><li>Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list. </li><li>Manage reservations using OpenTable. </li><li>Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries courteously. </li><li>Receive, process, and manage takeout and delivery orders. </li><li>Assemble and package orders paying attention to packaging techniques to avoid spills, leaks, or damage during transportation. </li><li>Process payments for takeout orders, including cash, credit/debit, and digital payment methods. </li><li>Ensure accurate cash handling and proper reconciliation of sales at the end of each shift. </li><li>Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Previous work experience as a Host is preferred. </li><li>Working knowledge of OpenTable and Point of Sale is preferred </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting. </li><li>Must be able to handle guest incidents/complaints. </li></ul> <p>We value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) retirement plan to support your future.
