Bring your expertise and help us shape the future of our industry.</p> <p>As a Sr. Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems to improve manufacturing processes and ensure efficient operation. You´ll work closely with other engineers and departments to integrate control systems with existing processes and equipment.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate safety leadership to ensure a safe work environment and work practices, aiming for an injury-free workplace. </li><li>Lead process automation and PLC programming, manage capital programs, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. </li><li>Set and align facility goals with corporate engineering strategy, drive innovation and growth, and establish KPIs and deliverables for continuous improvement. </li><li>Provide technical support including process studies, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting to optimize processes and meet cost and production goals. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory, ISO, Quality, Food Safety systems, GMP policies, and guidelines, and support Lean elements for continuous improvement. </li><li>Mentor and train team members, manage systems and licenses, and conduct process automation training to maintain and enhance employee proficiency. </li></ul> <p>What you will bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Controls and automation experience in food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical (preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or equivalent and a minimum of 7 years' experience in process controls and/or automation in a continuous/batch operation facility, including leading/implementing process improvement initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of and significant programming experience with the plant process controls systems: Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC500, PLCs, Rockwell, HMI InTouch, IoT, and Aspen/Wonderware historian experience minimum.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, control valve theory of operation, application, selection, specification, and installation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Who you are:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leadership experience and the ability to concisely communicate objectives and results to reach targeted goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience managing several projects/initiatives at one time, financial acumen, and advanced problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide day-to-day and after-hours support for operations, investigating and troubleshooting control system related issues, continuous improvement mindset, maintaining automation systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join Ingredion?</p> <p>Discover why Ingredion is the ideal place to advance your career with our exceptional rewards and benefits package designed to help you thrive. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).</p> <p>Incentive Compensation:</p> <p>As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Full-time roles are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental and vision coverage as well as a 401(k) plan with an competitive company match.</p>
