Presentation of design to high-level customers at Prime Contractors and DOW. Run FEA, FDTD and PIC codes for design of VEDs. Responsible for yield improvement, corrective actions and other activities supporting production</p> <p>YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:</p> <ul> <li>Design, analyze and document from concept to production </li><li>Present designs to high-level customers </li><li>Perform other duties as needed and assigned </li></ul> <p>YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:</p> <ul> <li>PhD in Physics (Vacuum Electron Devices). Strong background in experimental physics </li><li>Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, plasma & microwave theory </li><li>Understanding of materials and vacuum science </li><li>Experience with Finite Element, Time Domain and Particle-In-Cell codes </li><li>3D CAD modeling </li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with other functional groups as well as suppliers </li><li>U.S. Citizenship and are able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range $102,900 - $131,500 / year</p> <p>EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:</p> <p>We recognize and appreciate that our employees are our most important asset.
