<p>Title: Financial Aid Coordinator</p> <p>Employee Classification:</p> <p>Institution: TCAT-Memphis</p> <p>Department: Student Services</p> <p>Campus Location: TCAT Memphis - Instructional Service Center</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Financial Aid Coordinator</p> <p>Supervise, evaluate, and train financial aid staff</p> <p>Coordinate financial aid programs including PELL, TN Promise, TN Reconnect, TELS, etc.</p> <p>Inspect student aid files to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines</p> <p>Review verification process and resolution of conflicting information</p> <p>Process Return of Title IV & Reconciliation of financial aid accounts</p> <p>Monitor and evaluate student progress to determine continued financial aid eligibility</p> <p>Compile and complete financial aid reports in a timely manner</p> <p>Maintain compliance in all aspects of federal and state regulations</p> <p>Attend federal and state workshops and conferences</p> <p>Assign tasks to financial aid staff</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in accounting, business, or finance</p> <p>Four (4) years of administrative responsibility including supervision of staff</p> <p>Knowledge of Department of Education federal/state financial aid rules and regulations</p> <p>Knowledge of financial aid programs including PELL, TSAA, SEOG, TN Lottery Scholarship</p> <p>Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication</p> <p>Evidence of ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy</p> <p>Proficient in computerized accounting systems and software programs</p> <p>Experience working in a higher education environment a plus</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in accounting, business, or finance</p> <p>Four (4) years of administrative responsibility including supervision of staff</p> <p>Knowledge of Department of Education federal/state financial aid rules and regulations</p> <p>Knowledge of financial aid programs including PELL, TSAA, SEOG, TN Lottery Scholarship</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in accounting, business, or finance</p> <p>Four (4) years of administrative responsibility including supervision of staff</p> <p>Knowledge of Department of Education federal/state financial aid rules and regulations</p> <p>Knowledge of financial aid programs including PELL, TSAA, SEOG, TN Lottery Scholarship</p> <p>Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication</p> <p>Evidence of ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy</p> <p>Proficient in computerized accounting systems and software programs</p> <p>Experience working in a higher education environment a plus</p> <p>Physical Demands / Working Conditions</p> <p>{sTAOther1}</p>
