<ul> <li> <p>Identifies and mitigates potential regulatory risks associated with new product development</p> </li><li> <p>Supports competitive and cost-benefit analyses by comparing actuarial features and pricing of competitor products</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates the feasibility and potential improvement of proposed product features from an actuarial standpoint</p> </li><li> <p>Identifies and reports any occurrences that may indicate violations of laws or statutes to management</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with product marketing by creating insightful data visualization presentations on actuarial products and actuarial benefits</p> </li><li> <p>Supports product pricing including set up of underlying assumptions for new and existing products; participates in the product development process from the technical/actuarial perspective for product pricing and features</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes revenue and expense projections, identifying key variances and their implications</p> </li><li> <p>Performs initial calculations for unpaid claims reserves and Affordable Care Act (ACA) related items and prepares reports on reserve levels</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes insurance data and prepares initial reports on coverage trends and effectiveness</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p> <ul> <li>Completion of two Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams </li></ul> <p>Typical Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Four years of related experience </li><li>One year of experience in the health insurance industry </li><li>Validation by Education Experience (VEE) </li><li>Completion of two Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams </li></ul>
