The positions of Cement Finisher in the Department of Public Works - Bureau of Street Lighting require a valid Class B (or A) driver's license issued by the California DMV and a valid medical certificate approved by the California DMV at the time of appointment. The positions of Cement Finisher in the Department of Public Works - Bureau of Street Services require a valid Class B driver's license issued by the California DMV and a valid medical certificate approved by the California DMV prior to the completion of probation. The positions of Cement Finisher in the Department of Transportation require a valid Class C driver's license issued by the California DMV at the time of appointment and valid Class B driver's license issued by the California DMV and a valid medical certificate approved by the California DMV at the completion of probation. The positions of Cement Finisher in the Department of Water and Power require a valid Class B driver's license issued by the California DMV and a valid medical certificate approved by the California DMV at the time of appointment. Candidates will not be eligible for appointment to these positions if their DMV record within the last 36 months reflects three or more moving violations and/or at-fault accidents, or a conviction of a major moving violation such as DUI.
