Learn more about us at worcester.edu/about .</p> <p>Job Description: Department: Retention Office Job Title: Peer Success Navigator Number of Vacancies: 4 SSTA Supervisor: Thomas Kelley Position Type: Non-Supervisory Number of Hours Per Week: 4-5</p> <p>General Statement of Duties:</p> <p>The Peer Success Navigator supports the persistence and success of undergraduate students by serving as a trained peer mentor. Navigators are assigned to a specific cohort of first-year students and provide proactive outreach, guidance on academic and personal success strategies, and connection to campus resources.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Serve as a positive peer mentor and role model for assigned students.</p> <p>Conduct regular check-ins (in-person, phone, or virtual) to discuss time management, study habits, class engagement, and campus life.</p> <p>Provide referrals to academic support, advising, counseling, financial aid, and other student services.</p> <p>Assist in the development and delivery of workshops or group sessions on student success topics.</p> <p>Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and submit timely progress reports.</p> <p>Participate in training, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.</p> <p>Requirements: Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Must be in good academic standing.</p> <p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to helping peers succeed.</p> <p>Experience as a peer mentor, orientation leader, RA, or similar student leadership role is a plus</p> <p>Additional Information: Worcester State University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer which seeks to reflect the diversity of its community.</p> <ul> <li>This position is available for WSU students only* </li></ul> <p>Hourly Rate: $15.00</p> <p>Application Instructions: Students must apply online.
