<p>The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants for a Head Custodian position at Pickerington Kindergarten Center.</p> <p>This is a 12 month position working 1st shift hours (6:30am - 3:00pm).</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalency </li><li>Previous custodial work experience preferred </li><li>Ability to maintain care of buildings, grounds and equipment </li><li>Experience with operating heating and ventilating equipment </li><li>Ability to read basic operating instructions </li><li>Ability to communicate and work well with others </li><li>Knowledge and/or ability to learn technical building systems </li><li>Ability to lift, push, pull or carry 80 pounds </li><li>Ability to perform manual labor for long periods of time </li><li>Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned </li><li>Ability to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, clean, positive and comfortable environment </li><li>Ability to lead and give instruction to custodians on all working shifts </li><li>Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed </li><li>Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic </li><li>Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations </li><li>Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse population </li></ul> <p>If interested and qualified in this positions, complete the online application.</p>
