<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position will perform licensing support functions for mortgage licensees regulated by the Department. This position will work directly with the public in the application and renewal process and provide regulatory information. Some of these duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Reviewing online applications submitted through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS), determining completeness, approving those that meet the minimum standards, and recommending denial of those that don't meet the minimum standards. </li><li>Informing applicant in a timely manner of any problems and areas of omission to the application. </li><li>Reviewing online license renewals for completeness, determining if minimum standards are met, and communicating with licensees until issues are resolved. </li><li>Reviewing amendments to the license record submitted by licensees to determine if the changes being made meet the statutory requirements, administrative rules, and Department policies to remain licensed. </li><li>Keeping current with state statutes, administrative rules, and Department policies that affect the licensure process. </li><li>Maintain procedures for duties performed and identify the need for new or revised procedures. </li></ul> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in schedule-range (02-11) with a salary of $22.31 per hour, plus excellent benefits*. A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <ul> <li>The incumbent must work at least 1200 hours in a calendar year to be eligible to enroll in the Wisconsin Retirement System and become eligible for Insurance benefits. Leave time is also prorated for part time employees. </li></ul> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check.</p> <p>This state agency does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified candidates must detail having experience performing all of the following in order to be considered:</p> <ul> <li>Using computer programs such as Adobe, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Access, or comparable for data review/data entry. </li><li>Assisting internal and/or external customers with questions by utilizing a variety of communication methods (e.g., phone, email, in person, etc.). </li><li>Training and/or work experience within the financial services industry (Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Banking, etc.). </li><li>Ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. </li></ul> <p>In addition to having experience in all of the above criteria, well qualified candidates will also detail having experience in one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Performing administrative licensure review activities. </li><li>Performing application processing (e.g., reviewing, approving, denying, etc.) </li><li>Working with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS). </li><li>Interpreting State statutes and/or administrative codes. </li><li>Identifying and/or recommending the need for new or revised processes or procedures to ensure efficiency. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
