<p>Salary Range: <\/strong>$22.50 To $24.71 Hourly<\/p> Reports To: <\/strong>Customer Service Team Lead</p> <p>Schedule:<\/strong> Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm <\/span><\/p> <\/strong></p> <p>GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:<\/h3> Responsible for all of the necessary functions to provide effective customer service. Responsible for acting as a liaison between customer and internal departments.<\/p> ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/h3> Order Entry-take orders via phone and email; perform order entry; figure pricing; figure stick count for production; figure amount per carton\/skid; figure truck space; figure number of labels needed; printing labels<\/li> Handle shipping matters- seeking freight quotes, determining freight rates vs. charges<\/li> Prepare daily invoices-pull daily work; process invoices; fax\/scan\/mail invoices to customers; file paperwork; print daily invoicing report for Inside Sales Manager.<\/li> Expedite orders and respond to customer inquiries, as needed.<\/li> Handle other duties and special projects, as assigned.<\/li> Data Entry- interpret data in customer folder and input into computer systems; attention to detail and accuracy<\/li> <\/ul> COMPETENCIES SHOULD INCLUDE:<\/strong><\/h3> To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: <\/em> Customer Management - Complete orders on time, use time efficiently.<\/li> Proven customer service experience<\/li> Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.<\/li> Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; Sees ways to improve and promote quality and customer satisfaction; Meet productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.<\/li> Able to retain fundamental sales information to build knowledge base of industry and customers.<\/li> Follow instructions and respond to management direction.<\/li> Observe safety and security procedures.<\/li> Adapts well to changes in the work environment.<\/li> Works well with others.<\/li> <\/ul> SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<\/strong><\/h3> This position requires a high school education or GED equivalent, 2-4 years related; non-retail<\/strong> customer service experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
