<p>EASTERN TITLE DIVISION</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>OLD REPUBLIC TITLE</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <p>Search and examine title records and create accurate title commitments and other reports in a timely fashion, focusing on basic to moderately complex title orders.</p> <ul> <li>This position is located in office in our Naples, Florida branch. </li></ul> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Examine title documents filed in the public records and issue a title commitment and/or Owner & Encumbrance report for junior lien customers. </li><li>Research property tax information on the computer. </li><li>Research names for bankruptcy, state and federal tax liens and judgment information on the computerized General Index System. </li><li>Handle customer inquiries regarding title problems. </li><li>Occasionally enter/revise orders on Title Order Entry System </li><li>Search title records to identify the records that may affect basic to moderately complex title orders. Learn and apply basic-to-moderate mapping to identify accurate search parameters. </li><li>Organize the search results into an accurate chain of title for basic to moderately complex title orders. </li><li>Examine all the documents in the chain of title for validity based on knowledge of legal descriptions, real property law and The Fund's Title notes. </li><li>Validate that base title is within guidelines, determine how apparent title is vested and what qualifies as an outstanding lien or encumbrance for basic to moderately complex title orders. </li><li>Prepare final title products, including the attachment of applicable records and tax information. </li><li>Interact with internal and external customers to answer questions, discuss findings and assist in resolution of basic to moderately complex title problems.
