Together we are building a community of members that embraces healthcare as a proactive part of their lifestyle.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Crossover Health is seeking a part time Massage Therapist 2 days per week at our Pepsico Purchase clinic .</p> <p>The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities to relieve bodily aches and pains and provide relaxation.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Interviews clients to determine the required massage method</p> </li><li> <p>Assesses client's medical history, symptoms and other relevant information before treatment</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares proper emollient, room and equipment required</p> </li><li> <p>Applies pressure to the client preference</p> </li><li> <p>Consults with other health practitioners to provide the client with the best therapy</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains records of treatment</p> </li><li> <p>Refers clients to other therapy, if necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current BLS - Basic Life Support Certification</p> </li><li> <p>State certification through the California Massage Therapy Certification (CAMTC) or Nationally Certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NOBTMB)</p> </li><li> <p>NYS License</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Multiple Modalities of massage in repertoire from Swedish massage to Myofascial techniques</p> </li><li> <p>Friendly and welcoming attitude</p> </li><li> <p>Organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Adaptability and able to work in a high-volume clinic</p> </li><li> <p>Work with previous computer and EMR systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Requires standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination</p> </li><li> <p>Includes full range of body motion including potential of handling and lifting patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.</p> </li></ul> <p>The base pay range for this position is $44.17 to $57 per hour. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience.
