<p>SUPERVISOR: BUILDING PRINCIPAL</p> <p>LOCATION: ASSIGNED BY SUPERINTENDENT OR DESIGNEE</p> <p>JOB OBJECTIVE</p> <ul> <li>Assume the responsibility for supervising and assisting students </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Be able-bodied, of good moral character, and adaptable to working around students who may have learning disabilities or physical handicaps, or both </li><li>Student Pupil Permit </li><li>BCI/FBI Background Check </li></ul> <p>JOB LOCATION</p> <ul> <li>High School, Middle School, and Elementary schools as assigned by the Superintendent </li></ul> <p>EQUIPMENT UTILIZED</p> <ul> <li>Be able to learn the use and care of special devices for handicapped as required on a case by case basis </li></ul> <p>JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Essential</p> <ul> <li>Assist and supervise the students in their movement from activity to activity </li><li>Assist the students with their restroom needs </li><li>Assist with the implementation of their physical education program </li><li>Supervise and assist with learning activities </li><li>Assist with fine and gross-motor activities </li><li>Provide individual attention when needed </li><li>Assist with the modification of teaching equipment and materials when needed </li><li>Attend, assist and supervise students on field trips </li><li>Assist students as necessary and appropriate in emergency situations </li><li>Such other duties as may be assigned by the building principal </li></ul> <p>The aide must be flexible and responsibile for a variety of roles which can include one-on-one student support, small group support, as well as office and cafeteria duties.</p>
