This person is responsible for providing highly skilled analysis of blood, fluids, and tissue samples.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work alternates between the Infusion Center in Enfield and Rapid Response Lab at Johnson Memorial Hospital</p> </li><li> <p>Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment by calibrating; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Hours:</p> <ul> <li>40 hours, Day Shifts, e/o weekend and rotating holidays </li></ul> <p>What you need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from a accredited college/university and successful completion of NAACLS accredited MT program or MLT certification program.</p> </li><li> <p>Certification: MT-ASCP or equivalent level certification offered by one of the professional societies.
