<p>POSITION: Group Leader - SACC Program</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Site Coordinator</p> <p>STATUS: School Year, Part time, 2:00 to 6:30 p.m. Summer and vacation hours are extended.</p> <p>Pay Range: The expected base pay for the position is $15-$20 per hour and may be increased based on other factors, such as language, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Reports directly to SACC Director.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct supervision to a group of up to 13 school age children grades K1 - 5th, providing for their physical and emotional safety and well being at all times; </li><li>Assist children with homework as needed and provide tutoring services where appropriate; </li><li>Work with Site Coordinator and other program staff to plan and implement a well-rounded and fun curriculum for the site; </li><li>Develop plans to teach literacy, math and health curriculum, or other curriculums as needed or requested; </li><li>Support specialists in other activities who provide lessons such as art, taekwondo, science, etc.; </li><li>Plan and implement other daily group activities as needed showing initiative and creativity, including vacation weeks and holiday program days; </li><li>Help monitor, document, and file group attendance each day; </li><li>Along with the Site Coordinator ensure all program policies, rules, and regulations are enforced; </li><li>Attend staff meetings and training sessions as requested and as required; </li><li>Make daily contact with parents when they pick up their children to share accomplishments of the children and advise of upcoming events; </li><li>Work in a team effort with the Site Coordinator, program staff, and other BSCC staff; </li><li>Perform related duties as required. </li></ul>
