Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.</p> <p>As a Security Surveillance Operator, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.</p> <p>What's in it for you:</p> <ul> <li>Site Location: Minneapolis, MN </li><li>Set schedule: Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, 3rd shift 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. </li><li>Competitive hourly wage of $27.45 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) </li><li>A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options </li><li>Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld </li><li>Uniform provided at no cost </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities of Security Surveillance Operator</p> <ul> <li>Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity </li><li>Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports </li><li>Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats </li><li>Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises </li><li>Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors </li><li>Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions </li><li>Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies </li><li>Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property </li><li>Handle Video Investigations for incidents that meet specified client criteria. </li><li>Maintain current knowledge of all available incident reports and inputs events that match criteria into Smartsheet to begin investigation. </li><li>Deploy and maintains mobile cameras throughout multiple sites. </li><li>Must be able to critically analyze the described events and utilize knowledge of available camera angles and systems to locate footage of the required event. </li><li>Must have highly proficient tech literacy and ability to quickly learn and adapt to software technologies. </li><li>Must be physically able to climb 6ft ladder for camera deployments and maintenance. </li><li>Must be comfortable with an office style position. This includes a majority of the work week in front of a computer. Proficient skill in typing. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of a Security Surveillance Operator</p> <ul> <li>Be authorized to work in the U.S. </li><li>Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process </li><li>Strong report writing skills </li><li>Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus </li><li>Strong proficiency with technology </li><li>You have security or prior military/law enforcement experience. </li><li>You have experience working with surveillance cameras and security systems. </li><li>You have a state license if required. </li></ul> <p>In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
