Monitors boiler operation, recognizes upset conditions and corrects problems or safely shuts down a boiler. In the absence of supervision, makes decisions when to startup or shutdown boilers based on campus loads, breakdowns, weather, or loss of efficiency. Plans, schedules, supervises and directs the activities of other steam plant employees. Performs operation, maintenance, and repair services of auxiliary boiler equipment and systems.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent. At least three years of boiler operations and maintenance experience. Valid driver's license. Ability and willingness to work irregular hours, as required.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Work Hours</p> <p>Rotating shifts.</p> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>Salary Commensurate with education and experience. Pay grade 7. Benefits Information</p> <p>The University offers a competitive benefits package.
