<p>What you'll do:</p> <p>This position will indirectly lead, oversee and manage one or more product and software development teams as a servant leader. This Scrum Master role will be involved in Global Manufacturing Automation IT projects including Ignition software, Scada, HMi, MES Systems. Eaton is leading the way in Industry 4.0 Ai automation for their manufacturuing facilites to increase product efficiencies / performance.</p> <p>The Scrum Master will ensure that teams follow and understand Agile practices and Scrum framework values, work to increase team efficiency, provide motivation and guidance for process improvement, and support adoption of Agile mindset and scaling within the enterprise.</p> <p>The Scrum Master will ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox. The Scrum Master will work to eliminate cross VS impediments.</p> <p>The Scrum Master works directly with Product Owners, engineers and other product team members to execute the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, help create user stories, manage the product backlog, and assist with value based prioritization.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Accountable for all Agile ceremonies of a Scrum team including planning, review, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups </li><li>Drive a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle </li><li>Trains, mentors, and supports Scrum teams and others within the enterprise to follow and deeply understand Agile values, principles, and practices </li><li>Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions </li><li>Assists the Product Owner with roadmapping, epic creation, decomposition and multi-sprint planning </li><li>Support the estimation and prioritization of user stories </li><li>Collect, track, and report Agile metrics on performance and progress </li><li>Support the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities </li><li>Support the resolution of impediments and escalate where required </li><li>Coordinate with other Agile teams to ensure alignment and management of dependencies including participation in Scrum of Scrums or related ceremonies where applicable </li><li>Ensures a psychologically safe environment for the team to raise and resolve issues </li><li>Leads the capacity planning for each sprint </li><li>Communicates risks, status and general updates to stakeholders </li><li>Manage one or more Scrum teams across multiple geographies </li><li>Improve the Agile maturity of the team on a continuous basis </li><li>Support the Product Owner in cost tracking for scrum projects </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. </li><li>7+ years of IT experience working on Agile teams. </li><li>5+ years of experience as an IT Scrum Master within a large global Corporation. </li><li>Experience leading highly complex software/ IT projects, programs, and teams. </li><li>Only candidates currently living within a 50-mile radius of posted geographical areas will be considered for this role . </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Scrum Masters supporting IT/software project supporting Manufacturing operations. </li><li>Significant knowledge of Digital Manufacturing Concepts. </li><li>Scrum Master Certification. </li><li>Previous exposure to Ignition Software, MES Mfg, Industry 4.0 </li><li>Strong understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes. </li><li>Deep experience working with Agile, including Scrum or Kanban, and how to practice Agile at scale </li><li>Expertise with Agile software tools and producing Agile artifacts </li><li>Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles. </li><li>Deep experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services. </li><li>Able to coach multiple teams. </li><li>Ability to work on IT projects and work independently to complete required deliverables in a timely manner. This would include all project phases from requirements gathering to post go-live support. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
