With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.</p> <p>HNTB is seeking a Track Engineer II with a focus towards rail/transit projects to work out of our Lake Mary office. The Engineer II will be a part of the Rail department and will collaborate with project teams working on designs involving rail, track, and safety/security corridor projects.</p> <p>Candidates with passenger or freight rail experience are preferred, but willing to discuss a career with someone with Civil/Highway experience with knowledge of OpenRoads / InRoads / Geopak / Civil3D that has a desire to pivot towards a career in track design.</p> <p>Track Engineers are responsible for the production and modification of track design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects. This position consults with the project manager to perform research, development, calculations, design and delivery. Applies engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity. Leverages technical knowledge and experience to address design related issues or concerns, interactions with clients and by completing tasks to meet the project schedule.
