<p>prAna Boulder</p> <p>Pearl St. Mall</p> <p>Boulder, Colorado</p> <p>Overview of the Position:</p> <p>The Retail Associate is an integral part of our retail team. Assists store leadership to deliver exceptional brand and customer experiences, drives store sales, and increases profitability. Follows prAna marketing and promotional directives that will increase sales and grow our existing customer base. Helps maintain high store standards and conditions while fostering a positive, inclusive environment.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Delivers helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly service in person and by other means such as phone or mobile devices, as per prAna service standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Welcomes prAna customers with a warm and genuine demeanor and strives to give them a friendly experience while they're in the store.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists customers with finding merchandise and goes above and beyond to create an exceptional shopping experience; recommends product that may satisfy their needs and maximize store sales.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists customers with special orders, exchanges, returns and in-store orders from prAna.com</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient use of our prAna POS system for sales transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Displays a clear understanding of the prAna product line, participates in product education modules/training, and enthusiastically informs our customers about our apparel and accessories.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with inventory cycle counts, order processing, and stock room organization</p> </li><li> <p>Assists the Management team with weekly housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized store (windows, floors, dusting)</p> </li><li> <p>Follows inventory control and loss prevention procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with merchandising, floor resets, and visual merchandising directives to elevate the customer experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow all safety and security protocols and operate within the guidelines at all times.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A love for all things outdoors. A passion for climbing/yoga/running is highly desired, as well as a personal passion for environmentally driven initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Retail sales or customer service experience in specialty retail, active, or outdoor apparel a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>High School diploma or equivalent required</p> </li><li> <p>Must be at least 18 years old</p> </li><li> <p>Must be available for a changing schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
