Altogether, the company employs nearly 4,800 talented and dedicated employees in North America.</p> <p>Kdc/one is currently growing and we are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Quality to support our Ohio manufacturing sites. As part of the kdc/one network, we are the leading best-in-class producer of beauty and personal care products!</p> <p>This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, management and continual improvement of the assigned site's quality assurance program and the relationship between KDC/one Ohio sites and assigned customers to ensure the company meets financial goals and objectives.</p> <p>The essential duties of the role include:</p> <ul> <li>Creates, develops and maintains a Quality culture at assigned sites; works as a change agent and partners with Operations to improve quality across the organization; ensures best practices are benchmarked across sites and drives a standard quality process at all assigned locations. </li><li>Serves as the primary Quality point of contact between kdc/one Ohio sites, customers and regulatory agencies; communicates to customers regarding quality issues that take place at both sites and works to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction. </li><li>Provides timely escalation of key issues to senior leadership based on corporate escalation standard. </li><li>Continually improves product quality and client satisfaction by strengthening the company's Quality Management System and documentation consistent with FDA guidelines, especially CAPA. </li><li>Develops a Quality Department structure (organization and systems) that creates a culture of success and precision of execution. </li><li>Establishes and directs training and continuing education programs (both internal and external) regarding GMP and other regulatory requirements. </li><li>Maintains Quality KPI's across each plant, rolling these metrics up to senior leadership. </li><li>Ensures that each site complies with corporate standards and site SOP's. </li><li>Leads, assigns and manages the activities of the Quality Department at all assigned sites to ensure optimal results in safety, quality, productivity and cost. </li><li>Trains, coaches and develops employees within the department to ensure performance expectations and department objectives are met according to established standards; manages performance expectations and delivers feedback. </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in life science or related field required. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a regulated industry (laboratory, devices, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or biologics), preferably in a contract manufacturing environment. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years previous supervisory experience. </li></ul> <p>We offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary with annual incentive </li><li>Health/Vision/Dental/401k </li><li>Competitive PTO and 11 paid holidays </li><li>Career advancement opportunities </li></ul> <p>KDC-ONE is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, gender, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
