We collaborate as a team and celebrate each other's successes.</p> <p>Here's to crafting careers and creating new legacies.</p> <p>Crafted Highlights:</p> <p>In the role of Manager - SEC Reporting based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, you will be a part of the Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting team. This role is responsible for leading and supporting the organization in the ?ling of periodic reports with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, including the quality and timely delivery of Form 10-Qs, Form 10-Ks, Form 8-Ks, 1933 Act registration statements and other required reporting.</p> <p>As an active member of the team, you will facilitate the planning, development and ?ling of periodic reports with the SEC ensuring those ?lings are a result of a collaborative process with quality supporting documentation. The team is also responsible for providing technical accounting and ?nancial support, owning monthly close processes primarily related to Mergers and Acquisitions and Investments, among others, and leading the contract review process.</p> <p>This role will also have the opportunity to support the overall team in other areas such as the preparation of ?nancial statements, accounting research, resolving technical accounting issues, implementation of new accounting standards and reviewing contracts for accounting implications. This position will have exposure to our business leaders across functions including interactions with other Finance teams and various other departments.</p> <p>What You'll Be Brewing:</p> <p>Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Lead the planning, development and ?ling of assigned sections of periodic reports with the SEC including ?nancial statements, footnotes, MD&A and XBRL, etc. </li><li>Lead contributor to the SEC reporting process and responsible for maintaining and enhancing the operating e?ectiveness of internal controls over ?nancial reporting related to assigned disclosures and compliance with SEC rules and regulations. </li><li>Act as a liaison between Business Unit Finance, FP&A, Investor Relations, Legal and External Audit for assigned areas to achieve quality and timely ?lings. Coordinate and oversee the data collection process, reviewing the inputs and validating the data gathered. </li><li>Review and assess assigned disclosures for technical compliance, communicate requirements to content providers and contribute to the implementation of best practices, issue resolution and coordination of public ?lings. </li><li>Contribute to the assessment of technical accounting and SEC disclosure implications of major corporate events including signi?cant contracts, mergers and acquisitions, investments, etc. </li></ul> <p>Technical Accounting</p> <ul> <li>Support assigned accounting and reporting compliance through accounting research, memo preparation and resolving technical accounting issues. </li><li>Lead the contract review process, coordinating with ?nance business partners and the controller group to ensure the contract review policy is followed. </li><li>Partner with business stakeholders, to lead various technical accounting areas by reviewing any necessary entries and reconciliations, completing the necessary reporting disclosures and working through related transactions and special projects. </li><li>Support the evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements related to disclosures. </li></ul> <p>Functional Finance Support</p> <ul> <li>Partner with the assigned business function(s) and ?nance team(s) to enable compliant ?nancial reporting. </li><li>Own and operate business processes that contribute to ?nancial reporting for the assigned business function(s) </li></ul> <p>Key Ingredients:</p> <ul> <li>You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and preferably hold a CPA designation </li><li>You bring prior public accounting experience (preferred) </li><li>You have 6+ years of financial accounting experience </li><li>You have strong working knowledge of public company (SEC-regulated) financial reporting and filing requirements, including XBRL, and related systems such as Workiva </li><li>You demonstrate strong research skills </li><li>You can analyze complex contracts and business arrangements to determine appropriate accounting treatment </li><li>You understand the close process, reporting, systems, controls, and disclosure requirements for SEC registrants </li><li>You bring strong technical capabilities, including attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and clear written and verbal communication </li><li>You can analyze financial statements and assess downstream impacts </li><li>You manage time effectively and exercise sound professional judgment </li><li>You produce clear, thorough documentation </li><li>You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and can quickly learn new systems </li><li>You have experience with SAP, Blackline, Wdesk, and/or BPC consolidation tools (preferred) </li><li>You work independently, show strong initiative, and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments </li></ul> <p>Beverage Bonuses:</p> <ul> <li>Flexible work programs that support work life balance including a hybrid work model of 4 days in the office </li><li>Participation in our Total Rewards program with a competitive base salary, incentive plans, parental leave, health, dental, vision, retirement plan options with incredible employer match, generous paid time off plans, an engaging Wellness Program, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with amazing resources </li><li>On site Pub, access to cool brand clothing and swag, top events and, of course... free beer and beverages! </li><li>We care about our People and Planet and have challenged ourselves with stretch goals around our key priorities </li><li>We care about our communities, and play our part to make a difference - from charitable donations to hitting the streets together to build parks, giving back to the community is part of our culture and who we are </li><li>Engagement with a variety of Business Resource Groups, which can provide volunteer opportunities, leadership experience, and networking through the organization </li><li>Ability to grow and develop your career centered around our First Choice Learning opportunities </li><li>Work within a fast paced and innovative company, meeting passionate colleagues and partners with diverse backgrounds and experiences </li></ul> <p>Molson Coors is an equal opportunity employer. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.</p>
